Sally Wheeler Award
The Carousel Horse Show is pleased to establish the "Sallie Award" in honor of our patron, Sallie Busch Wheeler, in 1994.
The handsome mahogany plaque features a carved carousel horse head, with the names of the annual recipient engraved in gold underneath. It is to be awarded to a horse show participant who most embodies good sportsmanship, who has consistently supported the Carousel Horse Show throughout the years and who remains loyal to our charities.
The horse show committee will select by unanimous agreement, the name of the person, and will make the presentation at the show. The person honored may be an exhibitor, a committee member or even a faithful sponsor.
The plaque will be permanently displayed every year in the show office so that one and all may be aware of the winner whom the horse show hold in esteem.
