54th Annual Carousel Charity Horse Show
ARIZONA’S PREMIER MULTI-BREED COMPETITION SHOWCASING DIVERSE BREEDS, HORSEMANSHIP, AND SHOWMANSHIP
About the Carousel Horse Show history.
The Carousel Charity Horse Show name was "coined" by Mrs. Shirley Chartrand with the first show being held in April of 1971 at the Arizona State Fairgrounds. The Carousel horse logo was designed by Mrs. Louise Prieser. The show was designed to showcase multiple breeds of horses. Some of the breeds that have traditionally been a part of the Carousel Charity Horse Show are American Saddlebreds, Arabians, Half - Arabians, Friesians, Hackney Ponies, Morgans, Peruvian Pasos, and Road Horses. Today this show is the largest multi-breed show in the entire Southwest.
The Carousel celebrates it many years of success due to the constant support of so many. With much appreciation for their dedication and hard work we would like to thank all who have graciously dedicated time and sponsorships to the Carousel Show. The Carousel Charity Show is an amazing volunteer effort.

The American Saddlebred Association of Arizona wishes to thank all of the exhibitors, supporters, volunteers, workers and especially our sponsors for helping to make the 2021 Carousel Charity Horse show our most successful ever! Carousel is our largest event and it wouldn’t be possible without the assistance of countless people who help plan, prepare, work during the event itself, and clean up afterward.
Thank you for helping to make each show day possible!
