American Saddlebred Association of Arizona
The High Point Awards recognize outstanding horses and riders based on points accumulated in designated classes at ASAA pointed shows. All owners, riders, and drivers are automatically pointed for showing in any ASAA sponsored show. ASAA sponsored shows include:
• Carousel Charity Horse Show
• Spring Southwest Classic Horse Show
• Fall Southwest Classic Horse Show
• Arizona Futurity Horse Show
Points for ASAA High Point Awards are based on the American Saddlebred Horse Association's (ASHA) rating system, providing up to a 20-point scale. As our parent organization, ASHA also provides annual state awards for pleasure horses in nine categories and regional and national awards for most ASB and Equitation divisions. These points are tracked within the High Point Awards Program, but owners must be current members of ASAA to be eligible. If you are not currently an ASAA member, please go to the homepage for more information and to download an application.

2017 Pacific Coast Circuit High Point Awards are based on points earned by horses that have shown in two or more shows in the Circuit within the fiscal year of January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017. Membership in the Circuit is with the horse show. Both USEF and non-USEF member shows are eligible. The exhibitor or owner does not apply for membership and no exhibitor or owner dues are required. Any horse (or equitation rider) which places in the top four places in a Circuit member show Championship class (as stated in the list of classes below) and has properly qualified for the class; according to USEF rules, will automatically be registered in the awards program under the name of the owner.
In Equitation classes, only the qualifying age group classes are pointed, not the championships, unless there are separate 13 & Under and 14‐17 championships, in which case the championships are pointed. If there is only one 17 & Under class, it is the responsibility of the rider to notify the Circuit which age group they are in.
